On October 18, we received a visit from the President of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, José Luís Bonet, and the President of the Girona Chamber, Jaume Fàbrega, to learn about the Foundation's future residential reception project Ramon Noguera which will be located around the Monastery of Sant Daniel in Girona.
The Girona Chamber of Commerce has received more than 200 requests from companies in the area that want to apply for Next Generation grants with some of their projects. Of all the requests, the Chamber is helping to process 40 business projects that have been submitted to the first calls published by the Spanish government.
One of these projects, and one of the most innovative, is the one presented by the Ramon Noguera Foundation in collaboration with the priority of the millenary monastery of Sant Daniel de Girona. This is a housing and social inclusion project that will offer residential care to people with intellectual disabilities in facilities adjacent to the monastery, a project that we announced just a year ago when he closed the deal with the Benedictine community.
José Luís Bonet explained that the network of chambers is at the service of companies to help them in the transformation of the production model with the help of Next Generation subsidies, noting that this is an opportunity to make a leap towards business modernity and therefore expects them to arrive as soon as possible.
