Both in the residential reception service (Residencia Sarrià and Residencia Fontajau) and in the center of the day (CAE) we carry out various activities outside the center. These are very important because they not only impact on the personal, but also on the social side.

We participate in community activities by promoting social inclusion, developing interpersonal and group skills and social skills and also doing other activities where the objective is to promote the maintenance of good physical condition and health through physical activities.

We have done several walks, one in the Deveses de Salt and another in the Font del Ferro in the Vall de Sant Daniel. We participated in the World Week of physical activity doing activities of zumba, basketball and soccer in the Palau de Girona Pavilion and on a walk in Estany de Banyoles. We also do physical activity sessions in the Health Parks and in the Pavilion of Sarrià de Ter.

Every summer we enjoy the municipal swimming pool of Sarrià de Ter, and last summer we were the first to swim in the Torre Valentina beach thanks to the amphibious chairs.

We are also in close contact with the civic center of Taialà, where Fontajau groups use different spaces such as the kitchen room and the urban garden. They also make use of the Iu Bohigas de Salt Library and the group of Sarrià goes to the Emilia Xargay Library of Sarrià de Ter.

We participate in different activities guided and proposed by CaixaFòrum Girona. And we are always ready to celebrate the different festivals and traditions such as Sant Jordi, the Girona fairs, Floral Time, etc.

It is essential to look for activities and spaces that are well adapted and with good accessibility in order to do a good job and that everyone can participate and enjoy it.
