Telefonica Foundation awarded our social project "is to hold" an amount of € 5,000 in the ninth call for support for social projects. The submitted project intended to improve the quality of life for workers with disabilities through the Special Employment Centre training workshops on labor practices, with the aim of promoting self-determination, skills and personal responsibility in the workplace . The result of this award took place several days training the workers of our Special Employment Centre by a group of volunteers from the Fundación Telefónica de Girona.
THE BOX
The day volunteer workers of "la Caixa" had the purpose of bringing the community of persons with disabilities in society. It consisted of a gymkhana with different types sports, where volunteers from "la Caixa" had to support users of the residence Fontajau Foundation Ramon Noguera together to perform physical activity. During the treasure hunt we had the collaboration of seven volunteers.
ESTEVE
"Differently abled" said the day of corporate volunteering at the Residence Fontajau Esteve Foundation Ramon Noguera. Aimed to raise awareness and awareness of workers ESTEVE towards people with intellectual disabilities through the implementation of a series of activities organized in the same residence. The day had the support of 36 volunteers
