Life RECYCLO project to reduce laundry water consumption
Open project
The company TreeWater has developed a system for the treatment and recycling of waste water from laundries. It is a specific solution to reduce water consumption and environmental impact.
As part of the Life RECYCLO project, co-financed by the European Union, the procedure has been tested in three laundries: in France, Spain and Luxembourg. It aims to verify its effectiveness and make it suitable for industry.
The Catalan Water Research Institute (ICRA) has carried out the analyzes of polluting substances. And Pop'Sciences, from the University of Lyon, has taken charge of communication and awareness.
The Ramon Noguera Foundation Group hosts a prototype of the RECYCLO procedure.
