History of the Foundation Ramon Noguera

End of biographical and Ramon Noguera Sabater

Ramon Noguera Sabater (Girona, 1911-2000) is remembered as the founder of Girona Association Angelus, now constituted as the Ramon Noguera Foundation Group, and as a citizen active in the political life of the city as it Gerona was a member of the council representing the third family from 1957 to 1964.

He was born in 1911 and was the second of eleven children. He graduated in chemistry in 1933. His entrepreneurial skills led him to create several companies Girona, the most signi fi cant of them in 1947: CADIE SA (Compañia Anónima Industrias Electroquímicas), which was the manufacturer and marketer of products throughout the country as well known as Mistol.

From their marriage in 1938 with Elvira Pujol Hosta, were born two children, and three daughters, one of whom had a very important intellectual disabilities, which led him to have a very special dedication. This release led, in 1965, in the creation of what is now known as Association for the Mentally Handicapped-Angelus.

In November 2011, as a result of a strategic vision to promote its major areas of social and labor management, until the moment in which it was constantly growing, the Ramon Noguera Foundation led a future project that had to take one step further and place the entity as a benchmark in the sector.

Therefore, in January 2012, the Ramon Noguera Foundation Group was created, with the creation of two new split-off foundations: the Montilivi Foundation, which specializes in the social area, and the Mas Xirgu Foundation, which specializes in the social- work. Both are led by the Ramon Noguera Foundation, which continues as the central axis of the entity's cross-service.

INTEGRATION FOUNDATION ONYAR LA SELVA

2017

On November 24, 2016, the Onyar La Selva Foundation was formalized in the Ramon Noguera Foundation Group, which became effective in January 2017. The process began with the need for a generational renewal of the management team of the Onyar La Selva Foundation and its decision to move towards integration with a solvent entity, with which it shared its mission, values and goals, which was considered a very positive challenge by our organization.

The Onyar La Selva Foundation is a private non-profit that was created in 2004 as a result of the merger of the AISL (Association for Social and Labor Integration) and RAFT3 Riudellots.

The incorporation of Onyar La Selva Foundation to the FRN Group does not imply any change in the daily operations of the entities; However, it does provide financial solvency, provide human and material resources and provide more opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities, as employees of The Onyar La Selva Foundation will have access to the FRN Group's social resources.

The Onyar La Selva Foundation manages social entrepreneurship programs and itineraries for social and labor insertion of people with intellectual disabilities and, therefore, shares with the FRN Group the mission of working to improve the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities, the objectives of guaranteeing job placement and the territorial area of action, since it also works in a regional area.

On January 1, 2020, after a period of integration of the services of the Onyar La Selva Foundation, this entity is dissolved, and its services are now managed by the Mas Xirgu Foundation within the Ramon Noguera Foundation Group. Our trajectory does not stop and new horizons are opened.

The design of our logo is inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci drawing known as "The Vitruvian Man", dated the year 1490 approximately.

The Vitruvian Man represents a fi gure male overprinted two positions of arms and legs, and inscribed in a circle and a square. It is a study of the proportions of the human body, made from texts of architecture of Vitruvius, architect of Ancient Rome.

In our logo, draw up precise lines symbolizing the opening of the arms and legs of the Vitruvian Man, and provide 16 different positions in the form of triangles. These exact dimensions as we move to the excellence of the human body. The circle allows us to be present in the world to be atravessada straight lines intended to give a sense of greater dimension, related to the symbolic value and manage to offer a good quality of life.

The logo has evolved over time, but has always maintained its origin. The geometric Da Vinci and the scene fi cation of ideals represent our will and commitment to excellence and quality of life of people.
