EQUALVET aims to develop a vocational training program for people with intellectual disabilities in three professions: kitchen assistant, gardening assistant and cleaning. The training program will follow all the necessary requirements for the accreditation agencies, in order to carry out the certification of the professional skills and competences of the participants.

Expected impact:
Increase employment opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities.
Improve the quality of vocational training programs according to the needs of students with intellectual disabilities and the needs of the market.
Encourage national accreditation agencies to adopt the EQUALvet validation program for non-formal vocational training and recognize the skills of professionals with intellectual disabilities.
Transferability to more training and certification programs for other professions using the EQUALvet methodology.
