The Department of Education, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs and Family, the Dipsalut (Public Health Agency of Girona Provincial Council), the Consortium of Social Welfare Girona-Salt, Salt Council, Girona City council and the Foundation Ramon Noguera have signed the protocol to create a classroom specialized care for children 0 to 3 years with severe disorders of development in the nursery school Carrilet Salt.

The classroom project that we presented last week at a news conference through an agreement with the City of Salt and the Consortium of Social Welfare Girona-Salt, is the result of the common interest of all parties involved to perform actions to care for children with pluridiscapacitats affecting their development. All with the aim of encouraging personal growth, social inclusion and the acquisition of learning in a context that guarantees their attention. The new class will be operational next academic year 2017-2018.

The aim of the service is to improve the quality of life of these children with severe impairment and their families, promoting standardization and inclusion of children and families in a school environment appropriate to their age, needs and characteristics. The project is aimed at children with serious involvement in its development, which require special care nursery schools can not provide ordinary. This service will also help raise awareness of the territory.
