This weekend we were at the National Congress of Early Attention organized by GAT in Bilbao, where we presented the first results of research on the effect of screens on psychomotor development in children aged 1 to 4 years.
In recent years, there has been an increase in consultations with CDIAPs due to language delay and relationship difficulties. For this reason, a study has been carried out on the relationship between the use of screens and development in early childhood.
The CDIAPs of the Ramon Noguera Foundation, along with 5 other CDIAPs and the ERIDIQV research team at the University of Girona, have participated in a study on the effects of screen consumption on children.
And taking advantage of the fact that yesterday was International Children's Day, we want to remind you that it is necessary to avoid exposure to screens for children aged 0-3 because of the effects that have been observed on development and behavior at an early age and that it should be enhanced direct social interaction and contact.
