As part of the European Week of Sport, from 23 to 30 September , at the Ramon Noguera Foundation, and from the area of physical activity and health, coordinated by Cesc Massó, we have organized a series of activities to promote sport and movement among all users of residential and occupational services and also among professionals.

The activities were planned posing a series of challenges aimed at the professionals of direct attention of our services, which were involved 100% forming teams with users and preparing the props to simulate a whole series of representative scenes of different sports. such as tennis, athletics, rugby, badminton, football, swimming, and so on.

The purpose of these activities was to promote sport , but not only that, but also to promote knowledge of everything that surrounds a sport: its culture, regulations and even its history. And the ultimate goal was to achieve movement on its full scale. Cesc explains it like this: “it is very easy to play with a ball, but without the ball you have to imagine the movements, and this is very focused on body expression, to communicate with our body what we want to represent ”.

It must be said that the week of sports was even taken to the offices, where Cesc set up a mini gym and prepared routines with strength exercises that had to be carried out daily.

A lot of photographic and audiovisual material has come out of all these activities, of which we can see some examples.

#beactive is the label that accompanied all the activities related to the European Week of Sport.

European Sport Week was born as an evolution of the European Day of Sport, proposed by the European Parliament with the Resolution of February 2012 on the European dimension of sport to promote its social and cultural function. its health benefits .
