From the open and collaborative attitude that defines our organization, we take advantage of all the opportunities presented to us to work together with other entities and organizations for the promotion and dissemination of our work and for the improvement of the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities. In this sense, one of the activities we carry out are talks by our professionals in different areas, such as education, to bring the group closer to the youngest.

For this reason, on March 21 and April 5, several professionals from the area of care for people of the Ramon Noguera Foundation gave informative talks to students of the Higher Training Cycle Social Integration and Training Cycle Intermediate Level of Care to people in a situation of dependence on the INS La Bisbal. The aim of the presentation was to spread the word about the methodology of Person-Centered Planning (PCP) and explain how we apply it to people with intellectual disabilities that we serve in our centers. During the talk, different tools used were presented, such as life plans, personal profiles, different maps and adapted material. The presentation was given by the psychologists of the psycho-pedagogical area, Carme Sabatés and Yolanda Garcia, and the social worker of the residential care services, Eduard Muñoz.

PCP is a methodology that emphasizes the importance of the person's life goals, desires and support needs, focusing on the strengths, abilities and preferences of each person to achieve maximum quality. of life.
