The Fundació Ramon Noguera de Girona has presented at noon the new jewelery collections, designed and produced by the users of the entity, which on this occasion are inspired by six women who made history throughout the 20th century. The jeweler and gymnast gironina, Mariona Quera, created the Audrey collection, at special prices, dedicated to the figure of the actress and model Audrey Hepburn. They are made up of a series of silver pendants with geometric shapes such as diamond, hexagon, spiral, flower and tear. The jewels of the Foundation, which have an affordable cost between 8 and 12 euros, can already be purchased through the online store www.lafundacio.net, at the fashionable store and accessories of the Foundation and, during the fairs of Sant Narcís de Girona can also be purchased at the stand that the entity will have at the Fair of Exhibitions from the 28th to the 1st of November.
The jewels of this year have six women as protagonists. This is Coco Chanel, Indira Gandhi, Maria Callas, Marie Curie, Valentina Tereshkova and Audrey Hepburn. The collections dedicated to the first five women have been designed and created artisan by the users of the occupational centers of the Ramon Noguera Foundation, as a therapeutic occupation activity. The latest collection, dedicated to Audrey Hepburn, has been designed and produced by Mariona Quera by Pere Quera Joiers. All women who give their names and inspired new creations have in common that they are brave, influential women who have marked a tendency. These collections seek to enhance the role of women in the development of society.
Six collections, six renowned women
Coco, inspired by the figure of the elegant Coco Chanel (1883-1971), French haute couturier designer and founder of the Chanel brand, is a sophisticated collection that claims the pearl as the unifying shaft of elegance. It is presented in two variants. The first one is more classic and delicacy and silver predominate as outstanding material. The other one is more violent with contrasts of black and white, both characteristic of the designer.
The Indira collection is a tribute to the figure of Indira Gandhi (1917-1984), the first woman to be named Prime Minister in India. The harmonic mixture of colors and materials that make up each piece evokes natural elements such as earth, the sun and the mountains. The collection is ideal for lovers of the most exotic. They are pieces with lots of lightness that give a touch of life to those who look at them.
The figure of Maria Callas (1923-1977), considered the best known opera singer of the 20th century, gives name and style to the Callas collection.
