Spring Shopp Out reaches the record number of 45 participating brands
Six new firms add to this social initiative to be held from 2 to 5 May
The Shopp Out of the Ramon Noguera Foundation, the most important social shopping initiative of the State with 4,000m2 of exhibitors, will achieve in this thirteenth edition the record number of 45 participating fashion brands, of which six will do it for the first time time This large outdoor market, which offers discounts of up to 70% in first brands, will be held from 2 to 5 May at the Mas Xirgu de Girona estate. Sommelier Ferran Vila, from the Atempo restaurant, located in the fortress of Sant Julià de Ramis, will be the sponsor of an edition that will feature more children's stands this year.
Under the slogan "In spring, fashion is altered!", This new edition of the Shopp Out of the Ramon Noguera Foundation will be attended by 45 brands of men's, women's fashion, clothing and children's toys, footwear, accessories of spring-summer and clothes for the home, five more than in the edition of now a year ago. It emphasizes the fact that six companies will attend for the first time this social initiative that, as usual, will allocate a percentage of their sales to social projects of the Ramon Noguera Foundation, a non-profit organization that has been attending for over 50 years people with intellectual disabilities in the Gironès region. The new brands that are premiered at the event are: New Balance, in sports shoes; Smash and Teoh & Lea, in clothes for women; Message in the bottle and Petit Oh! In fashion infants and Elbaboheme, in accessories.
Complete the list of participating brands Aurora Mateo, FreeQuent, Molly Bracken, Mus & Bombon, Recycled Art World, Sita Murt, Messcalino, Molí d'en Puigvert and WeDontKillAnimals, in women's fashion; Antonio Miró, Antony Morato, Boxley, Fyord and Jack & Jones, in men's clothes; Geographical Norway, Gerome, LTB Jeans, Pepe Jeans, Petrol Industries, Superdry, US Polo ASSN, Diesel, which make both men's and women's clothes. In children's fashion and toys there will be also present Canada House, Mon Marcel, Baby Bites and Eurekakids; In shoes, Castañer, Geox, Mascaró, Nero Giardini, Pretty Ballerinas, Stonefly, Timberland, Toni Pons and Vans, and in the accessories section, underwear, bathroom and home there will be the signatures Textura, Punto Blanco and Mi & Co. Some of these firms have relied on the project since the first year. Also, the Ramon Noguera Foundation will offer visitors clothing, footwear and accessories that they can buy at the Lafundación store, which is located in the same facilities where Shopp Out is celebrated.
The godfather of this edition will be the sommelier Ferran Vila, from the Atempo restaurant, located at the Fortress of Sant Julià de Ramis. Villa won last year the contest for the Best Sommelier in Catalonia. During the celebration of this Shopp Out, a meal will be drawn at this establishment among all those who upload a picture of Shopp Out to Instagram with the hashtag #shoppoutgirona.
As usual, with the aim of making the visit a family and leisure experience for all ages, several foodtrucks will be offered with varied proposals, including gluten-free options. The workers of the Ramon Noguera Foundation will manage the Tasting Tasting Workshop and Bar & Terrassa San Miguel, which once again is the sponsoring brand of this edition. There will also be no live music with daily concerts, children's workshops by the company L'Ascènica and a children's area. As a novelty, this year there will be two parades by the Girona professional agency dedicated to fashion and the image PiùBellaModels. The attending public will also have the opportunity to sample ecological products Food Onyar, a project for labor insertion of the Ramon Noguera Foundation Group. Organizers trust over 30,000 visitors in recent editions. The Shopp Out will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., except Sunday, which will close at 8:00 p.m., and both tickets will be kept at the premises for Industry and Gerundense races (next to the Post Office).
About the beginnings of ShoppOut
Shopp Out began in July 2013 with 200m2 where the first brands that decided to opt for social initiative were installed. After a few years with a good reception from the public, the event has grown to consolidate two annual editions, which are celebrated in spring and autumn. The number of brands has been around for forty years and the exhibition space, the 4,000m2.
