About a year ago I volunteered at the Foundation. During this time, I have been accompanying in leisure outings, I have helped in the computer activity of the occupational center and have also been in residential homes.
I am studying social integration and, in part, it is thanks to having done this volunteering. I could say that it was the most important deciding factor. What I bring when I return home after volunteering is a great learning of the users I accompany. Unwillingly, you end up adopting another perspective of yourself and others.
I am grateful to be living this experience, it gives me great strength to continue what I am doing!
