The fair, integrated into the local community, offers the young people of Girona the opportunity to learn about all the training available in the territory with a clear objective: to guide them in making their training decisions and future employment.
Within this framework, several workshops, round tables and talks with experts from various industries are also organized.
From the Foundation we have already participated for years as visitors, but this year from the Orientation and Employment Service we had the opportunity to participate as speakers, thus presenting our reason for being and offer with two talks.
"I have a disability, what opportunities do I have?"
From the Foundation, we were able to present the training and employment resources we have available for young people from the Orientation and Employment Service and the Foundation's Job Center.
So he presented the different training resources, such as the new FPO Dual route (with recruitment from day one!) and the Certificates of Professionalism. But not only that! We also made known the non-regulated training activities that we carry out in different sectors such as commerce, barista or gardening, among others.
All of them offer internships at companies in the sector and individualized monitoring of the student, who through theoretical-practical training has the opportunity to acquire new knowledge for insertion into the world of work.
We believe that EXPOJOVE plays a fundamental role in promoting the academic offer available, opening up many opportunities to users who do not yet know quite what they are most interested in doing when they visit the fair, so it is an indispensable meeting for young people from the region
