The FPO DUAL Program of the Orientation and Employment Service of the Fundació Ramon Noguera began last February 15, and will go on until next February 25, 2025.
This edition has 12 participants and is aimed at young people aged 16 to 29 with disabilities of special difficulties, in a situation of unemployment and who do not have a previous professional qualification in the field of training.
This year, users are offered the opportunity to improve their employability by obtaining a Certificate of Professionalism in Cleaning Activities and a work-study and apprenticeship training contract.
DUAL TRAINING: A THEORETICAL-PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE
The DUAL training offers users the opportunity to improve their employability by obtaining a Certificate of Professionalism in Cleaning Activities, in addition to a work-study and apprenticeship training contract. This way, the student becomes an apprentice through a training and learning contract that allows the alternation between theoretical training at the educational center and professional activity at the company.
From Fundació Ramon Noguera we wanted to bet on this form of training in the field of disability as we consider that the model is very beneficial for the people who use it.
Training and learning contracts enable the active development of students' learning processes, which develop skills and knowledge in a real working environment. At the same time, registered people also obtain a one-year paid employment contract in the cleaning sector, either with our organization or with the companies Ecosol and Avançem Santa Clara.
As it is an adapted and comprehensive training, it also has programs for the development of social and personal skills. Thus, the training allows students to gain confidence in the autonomous development of each task.
Throughout the year, we also follow up on an individual basis for each person, giving them the necessary tools and support, both at training and work level, to achieve success.
