Talk to parents: Decide on the other

Since the Program for Families Group Foundation Ramon Noguera has organized the conference "The DECIDE TO ANOTHER" with the support of DINCAT.

The aim of the conference is to provide guidelines to those who are responsible for support, care or protection, so as not to fall into paternalism or abandonment. The first part of the talk will present and explain basic concepts and guidelines to address this issue. The second part consists of a dialogue with the audience to answer questions and apply the provisions laid down in the first part of the concrete situations posed.

The talk will be given by Mr. Joan Canimas, Doctor of Philosophy, Master in Bioethics and Ethics applied to social action, professor at the University of Girona and the Open University of Catalonia, where he teaches applied ethics in Social Education, Social work and Education. Member of the Ethics Committee of Catalonia Social Services, Health Care Ethics Committee of the Institute for Healthcare (IAS), the Research Ethics Committee of Girona and Ethics Committee and Research and biosecurity at the University of Girona.
