We participate in the 13th Employment Fair TreballemGI

07-11-2024

This week we participated in the 13th edition of the TreballemGI 2024 job fair, a landmark event in job placement in the Girona regions. Organized by the Girona Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the City Council, the County Council, the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Employment Service of Catalonia and the University of Girona, the fair has already established itself as a key appointment with more than a thousand registered and 500 job offers in this edition.

A space full of opportunities

The objective of the TreballemGI job fair is to offer a meeting space where companies and candidates can connect directly, contributing to promoting equal access to the labor market for groups that have traditionally had more difficulties.

As exhibitors, we have had the opportunity to present different job offers to work at the Ramon Noguera Foundation. During the day we were able to interview different candidates motivated to be part of our team, to whom we would like to thank for their interest, and meet companies that share our values in the field of insertion.

The fair is always an occasion to reinforce our mission and give visibility to our work, strengthening relationships with organizations committed to promoting more diverse and inclusive teams.

Our students visit the Fair

For the students of the Foundation's Orientation and Employment Service, attending the TreballemGi job fair is a great opportunity to get to know the world of work better. Through this day, they can get to know first-hand the dynamics of the labor market and understand which skills are currently most valued by companies.

Direct interaction with companies allows them to see how they can adapt and enhance their capabilities, making them feel more prepared to face their professional future.

Participating in events of this type is fundamental to their training, as they facilitate direct experience and offer a clear vision of the different possibilities in the market. In addition, these events are an opportunity for students to learn to communicate their talent and potential in front of real companies, gaining self-confidence and developing fundamental skills for their personal and professional growth.

Looking to the future

We are convinced that from spaces like the TreballemGi Fair, new job opportunities and collaborations can emerge that reinforce one of the goals of the Ramon Noguera Foundation: to build a society with more equal opportunities for everyone.

These initiatives are essential to raise awareness among businesses about the importance of an inclusive labor market and to remind us that, with the right support, we can build a work environment where everyone can feel valued and fulfilled.
