When creativity and solidarity come together, projects with a great impact are born. Today we share with you the interview of a professional who, for a decade, has actively contributed to transforming ideas into high-value jewelry. With unquestionable dedication and an inspiring vision, she tells us what motivated her to join the project, how the collaboration has evolved and what it brings to her personally.
1. You have been collaborating with the Foundation for 10 years. What motivated you to start the collaboration?
The first time they proposed it to me I was surprised and very flattered. I was very motivated by the initiative, both for the creative aspect and for being able to collaborate so directly with a foundation that does so much for the people who need it most.
2. What did the experience give you personally?
It has brought me personal satisfaction and also our jewelry workshop team. It's a pride on everyone's part. Seeing the Foundation's people learning to make jewelry and enjoying the jeweler's craft is spectacular.
3. In these ten years, which has been the collection that you liked the most?
In the first years we made a collection with stars made of a material that could be worked very well and natural pearls which I thought was very original. Working at the Foundation was very educational. The 2023 collection with the sea snail also had a lot of message.
4. What advice would you give to our jewelers?
It is a very beautiful and handcrafted craft. I would recommend them to work with concentration, patience, care and a lot of love.
5. How do you think this collaboration can inspire other companies or industry professionals to contribute to charitable causes in a similar way?
There are many professionals and companies that collaborate with different initiatives just like us. I guess one pushes the other. I would personally recommend those who haven't had the opportunity to take the plunge.
6. What is your opinion about the creative work that is done from the occupational therapy centers of the Foundation?
I see it as a task of constancy, repetition and effort. Always with joy, imagination, sensitivity and simplicity. I admire it very much.
7. How do you get inspiration to create the collection?
I try to bring the chosen theme to my ground every season and we take it as a new challenge. This year the theme is very popular... You'll see.
8. Is there a memorable story or moment you can share about your experience with the Foundation?
It fills me up every time I have the opportunity to visit the Foundation's jewelers' workshops. During a visit one of the users recited a very funny poem to me impromptu, as a thank you. I also remember good times at the Palau Feral stand.
9. How do you see the future of your collaboration with the Foundation?
I will always be at the disposal of the Foundation. They do so much work and their work is so admirable that no matter how much they do, it will always be little. Whenever possible they will have me for whatever they need.
