Last July 17, the Guidance and Employment Service of the Ramon Noguera Foundation celebrated the graduation ceremony of several programs carried out during the year 2023-2024. The event took place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Foundation's Showroom, located at Carrer Indústria, 22 in Girona.
During the course, the participants have had the opportunity to train and develop their professional and social skills through visits, talks, group dynamics, classroom training and individual follow-up sessions with the trainers. A total of 81 students have successfully completed the various programs offered by the Foundation, which include:
· SIOAS Program (Integral Orientation, Accompanying and Insertion Support Services): This program, still in the process of completion, has been crucial for the training and work integration of the participants. With the support of the counselors, the participants have learned to identify their abilities and develop specific skills that will allow them to access the labor market more easily. Of the 30 participants, 19 have already secured a job.
· Certificate of Professionalism (CP) in Cleaning: A program that has prepared participants to work in the professional cleaning sector, providing them with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in this field.
· Trade Assistant Certificate of Professionalism (CP): This course has provided students with the necessary skills to work in the trade sector, from dealing with customers to product management.
· Technical Training in Gardening: Program dedicated to training in gardening, where participants have learned basic garden maintenance techniques.
A celebration of effort
The graduation ceremony was a celebration of the achievements of the participants, recognizing their hard work and dedication throughout the course. The event began with a welcome from the trainers, who dedicated a few words to the students, highlighting their determination and perseverance.
Diplomas and ribbons were given to all participants. Then, a group dynamic was carried out to promote group cohesion. The event concluded with a catering organized by the Foundation's catering service, where the students could spend a good time and chat with the trainers.
Looking to the future
The main objective of the programs of the Orientation and Employment Service is to provide the tools and resources necessary for the social development and work integration of the participants.
With the training received, we hope that graduates will be able to access real job opportunities. The Foundation will continue to work to provide the necessary support and resources to its participants, ensuring that no one is left behind on their path to integration and self-sufficiency.
