The Special Work Center (CET) of the Ramon Noguera Foundation is a key piece in our mission to promote work inclusion and personal autonomy for people with disabilities.
This space not only offers employment opportunities in Girona and the Gironès, but also acts as an engine of social change, demonstrating that everyone has the right to work in decent conditions and with the right support.
What is the purpose of the Special Work Center?
The Special Employment Center (CET) aims to employ people with intellectual disabilities who, for various reasons, may find it difficult to access the ordinary labor market.
At all times, staff are selected based on their skills and abilities and the center offers an adapted environment and personalized support services with the aim of promoting workers' autonomy and occupational and social inclusion.
Insertion is carried out through two main channels: through the ordinary route, becoming part of the Foundation's worker pool, or after completing training at the Orientation and Employment Service, from where they are often detected suitable profiles for insertion in the Foundation's lines of activity.
Lines of business activity
We have 10 different lines of activity and services that offer employment to more than 200 people. These are professional services aimed at companies and individuals with a guarantee of quality, social value and a high level of customer satisfaction. Meet them:
· Gardening and Forest Services: we provide maintenance services for green areas, forests and public spaces for companies and institutions.
· Industrial cleaning: we provide cleaning services for companies and institutions in Girona and the Gironès.
· Industrial assembly: manipulators, assembly lines and industrial processes for companies in our facilities in Quart.
· Car Wash Tunnel: we offer vehicle washing, cleaning and disinfection services at the Foundation's facilities at the Mas Xirgu Polígon in Girona.
· Truck Wash Tunnel: at the Montfullà wash, we offer washing services for all types of large vehicles: trucks, coaches, trailers and caravans.
· La Rosaleda · Jardí Degustació: fresh Mediterranean-inspired cuisine with local and local products at the emblematic Jardins de la Devesa restaurant.
· Tasting Workshop: it is our cafeteria at the Foundation's premises in Mas Xirgu with a wide range of breakfasts, snacks, lunches and snacks. We offer a take away service.
· Catering service: gastronomic solutions with high social value and tailored for institutional and company events.
· Laundry: comprehensive services aimed at companies and individuals. Washing, sanitizing, drying and ironing. At the Foundation's premises in Mas Xirgu.
· Onyar Foods: organic pastas and pizzas with great social value.
Each area requires different qualities, offering diverse job opportunities for workers, as well as ongoing training and resources to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
Impact on the community
The Special Employment Center not only provides employment, but also promotes social integration and equal opportunities. In this way, the workers of the centers develop their skills and become an active part of the community.
