Renewed Alliance: "la Caixa" Foundation and Girona Entities sign a New Agreement for Labor Insertion.

The commitment to labor inclusion and social responsibility has received new impetus in Girona, with the renewal of the 2024 agreement between the "la Caixa" Foundation and the city entities that make up the Incorpora program. This agreement, signed last Thursday, February 22, reaffirms the alliance aimed at promoting the employment of people with intellectual disabilities and at risk of social exclusion.

Through this pact, within the framework of the Incorpora program, several initiatives aimed at increasing the recruitment of vulnerable groups will be launched. The entities involved, among which the participation of the Ramon Noguera Foundation stands out, undertake to continue working tirelessly for the employment of people at risk of social exclusion throughout the Girona territory.

The socio-labor inclusion program of the "la Caixa" Foundation, Incorpora, has been a key driver for the creation of job opportunities in Girona. In 2023, it provided 1,145 jobs to people in vulnerable situations, through the collaboration of 12 social entities and 39 technicians. This success would not have been possible without the participation of 502 Girona companies committed to social responsibility and the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.

Incorpora, founded in 2006, has established itself as a reference in the field of social inclusion through its work in establishing bridges between companies and social entities dedicated to labor integration. Since its inception, the program has provided work to 447,284 people in a vulnerable situation, thanks to the collaboration of 91,339 companies from various sectors.

In these labor inclusion processes, networking plays a fundamental role. The 1,200 job placement technicians offer personalized attention and follow-up to the participants, in coordination with the nearly 500 social organizations spread across the territory. This network has been key to the success of the program, consolidating itself as a point of reference in the fight against social exclusion in Girona.

The collaborating social entities in Girona, which have renewed their collaboration agreements for the eighteenth consecutive year with the "la Caixa" Foundation, include the Aspronis Private Foundation, the Altem Private Foundation, Cáritas Diocesana de Girona, the Association Clúster Èxit, Red Cross Girona, Fundació Acollida i Esperança, Fundació Privada Gentis, Fundació Intermedia Girona, Fundació Privada de Serveis Asistencianals de la Garrotxa – La Fageda, Fundació Privada MAP, Grup Mifas, Fundació Social Obra Comunitaria de Bellvitge and the Ramon Noguera Foundation.

These entities, with their commitment, continue to be fundamental pillars in the construction of a more inclusive and equitable society.
