Workers CET First Person: Núria Balcells

15-11-2016

It all started when a friend of mine took me to a laundry that was very well priced. I was surprised when I saw that this was the foundation laundry. Had already gone to seek work years ago but I stayed because I had to take another job in the same town where I live.

At that time, I had no job and I decided to go to the foundation to see if it was. They already had my record and I quote from an interview.

After a few weeks, they called me and offered me the job I have now. Clean the floors and the foundation has Cassà Llagostera.

At first, I had a bad because a few years ago that did not work and the work of cleaning had not ever done. He had the habit of doing it and it took a long time. I threw on time and had done all the work I put. Had many anxieties, came home crying saying to my husband could not work and I would not.

I have a mental illness that prevents me from being quiet and always see the glass half empty.

Gradually, with strong will, thanks to the patience of the foundation, I have been taking practice, and now I go out a lot better.

I thank the people who have trusted me and gave me the opportunity to improve, giving me the courage to tell me that they are very happy with me.
